The Singing Playground, Dan Jones

“Are the children’s games that my generation used to enjoy really disappearing? Lots of games have indeed gone, but at the same time new ones keep arriving, some to scamper in a moment  half way round the world, others to burst out in one playground to vanish like melting snowflakes….”

Dan Jones has been collecting a beautiful array of playground antics in East London; British, Bengali, Turkish, Somali. It’s beautiful inspiration for our project – the melding of cultures and at the heart of it all, a collection of beautiful play.

More about the exhibition at Rich Mix until end of Feb.
