Are you too old to play?

In 2008, Dr. Stuart Brown gave a convincing TED talk about the importance of play – for all ages. Does play have any purpose, apart from causing joy in humans and animals? Yes! Social play, rough-and-tumble play, ritual play, imaginative play, and solo play are vital to the development of the brain and, as much as a childhood without play is unimaginable, ‘we are designed to play throughout our lifetime.’
