We hope the photos say  it all!

It was a fun session we had at the Bromley By Bow Centre last thursday 19th as part of their Adult Learners Week celebrations. We jogged lots of memories by using yarn to make pom poms…stick eyes on them to make a little friend or use them as a keyring (as suggested by our younger participants!).  We also attempted the giant pom pom using hessian coffee sacks instead of wool – tricky and challenging, and not hugely successful but still good fun.

Cats cradle was the biggest talking point – with older people showing younger people this ancient art 😉 We gave away instructions and you can follow them here…

A HUGE thank you to the Bromley By Bow Centre for inviting us along and BIG appreciation to those that stopped to fill out cards about their favourite games and talk to us – soundbites from these conversations will be up on our oral history page soon.
