We took photos – yay!

Yesterday we ran an event at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. An incredible ecological place in the heart of the urban sprawl.
It runs an annual summer fair and we were one of the stall holders – inviting people to come and talk to us about their play experiences. We trialled something new and did this by walking and talking. The feedback was positive – people liked not having to look at the recorder and felt it was more atmospheric and relaxed. Even with the thunderstorm!

We also ran a kite making session. We had to prepare the materials quite a bit…bamboo sticks as crosses, paper for the tails, the string etc but it was very well received. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, everyone had fun making them and took their kites home to fly another day. There was so much happening that day that these photos are just a small selection.
