We are running a heritage project focusing on the childhood of various communities living in east London today. We are identifying, recording, and engaging with the games, puzzles, toys, rhymes, songs, literature, and clothing between 1950 to 1990.

A diverse pool of volunteers with enthusiasm and dedication is what we’re looking  – learn valuable skills to transfer to other projects. The project runs from Feb to Oct and we are looking for a minimum commitment of 2 months at one day per week ideally. Reasonable travel will be reimbursed and refreshments provided.

  1. Hi
We are the Royal Docks Learning & Activity Centre in North Woolwich E16.
We are holding a Health Event at the Centre on July 2nd (11.00 – 1.00). This is aimed at local people aged 60+ and as well as health check ups, keep fit, advice stalls, we thought that the Best Days of out Lives would add an interesting element to the session. Would you be interested in running a session?
If there is a possibility please contact myself or Jackie on 020 7476 9922
    Thanks
    Gary
